Founders:
Dr. phil. Revital Ludewig is a psychologist and family therapist. She worked with Holocaust survivors and their children from 1998-2013 and conducts trainings for therapists about working with perpetrator and victim families. In addition to her therapeutic work, she researches themes such as trauma and legal psychology. She is a lecturer at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Basel. She has published numerous articles, including: Opfer und Täter zugleich? Moraldilemmata jüdischer Funktionshäftlinge während der Shoah“ (2001). „Verbotene Hilfe. Deutsche Retterinnen und Retter während des Holocaust“ (Herbst 2003, zusammen mit Beate Kosmala). |
Miriam Victory Spiegel was born in New York City in 1945 and grew up there. After receiving her Bachelors Degree at Barnard College, Columbia University, she obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University in 1970. She has worked as an independent psychological counselor in Switzerland since 1983, running her own practice as a systemic couples and family therapist. She also works with people who have experienced persecution and abuse as well as for the prevention of discrimination.
Lic.phil. Silvie Tyrangiel is a psychologist (FSP) and a psychotherapist. She was born in Germany and is one of the founders of Tamach. She has lived in Switzerland since 1975. Since then she has worked with people who had experienced persecution and analysed the impacts of traumata on the survivors, their families and the second generation. She worked also with traumatised refugee from Ex-Yugoslavia. A publication amongst others:"Die Kinder der Verfolgten. Die Nachkommen der Naziopfer und Flüchtlingskinder heute (gemeins. mit Prof. Heinz Stefan Herzka), 1989. Silvie Tyrangiel runs her own practice in Zurich.
Esther Hörnlimann studied Jewish Studies, Political Science and Educational Science in Lucerne and Basel. She worked for Tamach (administration and organization).
